  10. Whose measurement counts? Give us your views on who monitoring & evaluation activities should ultimately be served #CBA9 #climatechange
  11. @IIED they're inextricably linked. M&E must serve needs of gov AND communities. Both require info to know what works #CBA9 #climatechange
  12. Atiq Rahman says everyone's measurement counts. But the communities' measurement should count the most #CBA9
  13. Because communities are affected by #climatechange the most they are in a position to know best which measurements matter, says Rahman #CBA9
  14. Communities in isolation can't address #climatechange alone, responds @Irish_Aid's Adrian Fitzgerald #CBA9
  15. Fitzgerald: "Everyone must be involved, but only government can provide scale and coordination to reach everyone" @Irish_Aid #CBA9
  16. @Irish_Aid's Adrian Fitzgerald: Effective adaptation calls for robust assessment of the actual and expected results of our actions #cba9
  17. "Mitigation is the best form of adaptation. We must mitigate right now at a very high level", says Rahman #CBA9
  18. Documenting and communicating results achieved to citizens will ensure the future of climate finance, says Fitzgerald @Irish_Aid #CBA9
  19. Fitzgerald replies: "If we start to think about whose measurement counts the most, there is a dilemma" #CBA9  https://twitter.com/IIED/status/593662839845322752
  20. .@Irish_Aid's Fitzgerald: "It's not about what matters most, it's about getting it right". It's a question of balance #CBA9
  21. Measurement of communities adaptation initiatives from both communities themselves and governments are equally important @IIED #cba9
