CBA9 highlights: day three
Highlights from the third day of the 9th International Community-Based Adaptation Conference (CBA9) on measuring and enhancing effective adaptation to climate change, which took place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 24-30 April 2015
- It was a busy start to the third day of CBA9 at the IIED publications stand...
- Then it was straight into the first plenary of the day on ecosystem-based adaptation effectiveness
- Then after a quick break it was back into the parallel sessions, the first one was on Loss and Damage
- Then after lunch it was another busy afternoon of parallel sessions...
- Great to hear that the outcomes/themes discussed in this session will be fed into the traditional knowledge side event at #COP21Paris #CBA9
- At the same time there was session on exploring ecosystem-based adaptation with participatory exercises
- And there was also a session in search of the the 'wow factor'...
- The 'wow factor' competition in #climatechange adaptation M&E at #CBA9. Love it. Funny & serious at the same time. @tommytanner
- It was then into the second part of the poster market-place where the winner was announced. Drum roll please...
- And the day came to a close with a book signing from Saleem Huq
