Tanzania action dialogue on artisanal and small-scale mining

In November 2017, IIED held its latest action dialogue for a more sustainable artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sector in Tanzania. Here's what happened:

  1. The multi-stakeholder dialogue was organised by the International Institute for Environment and Development with HakiMadini and MTL Consulting. The locally-driven process provided an opportunity to collaborate for better governance, greater representation and more safe and secure employment in the ASM sector in Tanzania.
